Oh dear readers. I apologize. I have been such a bad blogger! I will rectify this. There were some fun things I was taking pictures of around the house today. They will be coming soon!
On to the business of today. I’ve got a new pattern for you! I am excited about this one, I just love it. It’s a hat pattern called Spring Buds.
The hat is knit up in Knit Picks Stroll Sport. The sport weight yarn makes a lovely lightweight, yet warm fabric. The hat starts with a twisted 1×1 ribbed edge.
The hat is a slouchy fit. It comes in one size that fits a variety of head sizes. It fits both my daughter’s smaller head (21.5 inches) and my gigantic head (24.5). The body of the hat is given some texture and interest with slipped stitches.
The showcase of the hat is the bud panel which extends to the top of the hat. The bud pattern includes charted and written instructions.

They are pretty easy to miss among all the spam comments. For the knit purl knit into a stitch.
