When I am knitting a sweater, I make myself do the sleeves first, then the back and as a reward for good behavior, then I get to do the front, especially if it has an interesting pattern!  In June, I broke my rule and knitted the back of a child&#039;s cardigan first - it has been a real struggle to get the rest done!  I followed the pattern, and I find patterns always put the sleeves last!  I think it would be a good idea for pattern designers to put the sleeve pattern in as the first pattern, and then maybe we wouldn&#039;t see so much sleeve phobia... Also, I make myself do two sleeves at a time on the one needle - that way I know they will turn out the same length!]]></description>
